Please join us again this year as we gather for our annual Peace & Justice Network Community Potluck dinner on Sunday, Nov. 19.
The potluck has become a Greensboro tradition, which each year draws together individuals and organizations who are working toward building a more peaceful and just community and world. Each year, it serves to reaffirm the common bond we share in our commitment to imagining and creating a better world.
Join us this year as we invite area musicians to lead us in inspiring songs from peace and social justice traditions. Over dinner, we will begin engaging in dialogue about visions for our community, including recommendations from the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation process.
Display space is available for groups who want to present the work of their organization.
Our program for the evening will be:
4:30 - 5 p.m. Set up. We encourage groups to set up information tables about your organization. If you wish to do so, please RSVP to Laurie Gengenbach, 685-4443, l_gengen@yahoo.com so we can plan for space.
5 - 5:30 p.m. Time to meet and greet new friends and old in the peace and justice community.
5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Sharing potluck, dialogue over dinner, and Peace & Justice Sing-along.
Please bring a dish to share. We will provide the drinks. (We will also provide plates and utensils, but we encourage those who wish to do so, to bring their own eating implements, to ease pressure on our environment.)
If you cannot come, please let us know at PJN@triad.rr.com.
We look forward to seeing you on the 19th.
In peace, The PJN Planning Committee
